Trichy is one of the favourite tourist locations in the centre of Tamil Nadu which is also known as Tiruchirappalli. And most of the people nowadays are shifting to this place and many are interested to invest in residential properties like villa, 2 or 3 BHK flat in Trichy. This place offers a peaceful environment away from the hustle-bustle of the city. For those who are new to this place or have recently shifted in their new home, here’s a list of 3 interesting tourist attractions:
- The Rock Fort Temple:
This temple is 83 m high and one can get an amazing view from this height. This rock fort temple is there since the times of Pallavas and Pandyas. There are many small cave temples in the south side which are said to be cut by Pallavas and Pandyas. In order to reach the top, one has to climb up to 400 rock-cut steps.
- Trichy’s Railway Museum:
There is a great collection of antique objects at this place which includes phones, clocks, control boards, British-era railway construction photos, old train-line maps as well as even modern-day London Underground tickets. It is only half a kilometre from the Trichy junction.

Near Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, there is a small but very interesting Art Museum. It has some amazing things on display which includes good bronzes, tusks of bygone temple elephants, weaponry, and a collection of 17th-century Nayak ivory figurines depicting gods, demons, kings and queens, and even a Portuguese soldier.
